Austin

Anybody in Austin put down a deposit with a dealer to get on the list?
I am looking to get my hands on a Red 6-speed.

Talked to a sales rep in Round Rock. He seemed very knowledgeable about the FRS (even claimed to have been one of the first 86 but took a pass on it because they changed something... didnt say what)

Cool. Austin Subaru said they would be getting their first BRZ in late April. I signed up to receive an email when they have the event. We'll see if they actually follow up.

From what i read on this site, 2 of the first 86 winners are from this region. One from RR and the other from the I35S location. From what i have been told, i am #2 on the waitlist at the I35S location.
Am curious to check out the BRZ too. April sounds too soon, but you never know. I should sign up to their alerts as well.
Am planning to check it out at the Dallas auto show in a couple of weeks, assuming they show it.

Yeah Preordered mine in Round Rock (Scion) in December I think. Mak is the guy who helped me out. He didn't really know much about it at first but now when I talk to him he seems pretty knowledgeable. They say i'm the first on the list behind the First 86er

Austin Subaru doesn't know jack chit about when they will see one. Now waiting for the STi info to come out.

Still going to get a sport bike... the BRZ will be slow, but if I have the need for speed, the sport bike will take care of it.

I'm supposedly on the list with both Champion and Charles Maund scion. We will see which one calls me first.

Exact combo i am looking for. I saw the whitout at NY Auto show and it is awesome. Raven will be option 2 and Asphalt is #3. I am #2 at champoin scion so hopefully one of these will arrive in the order favourable to me.

Hey preetham, who did you talk to at champion scion? I think the guy told me there was a couple people ahead of me and it would be interesting to see if they are keeping one list or if each salesman is vying for the sale.
