Twin Turbo Kit ?

Hey what's up guys ?

I've been searching around and couldn't seem to find anything. But are any companies releasing a twin turbo kit anytime soon ?

I don't think it will happen due to the engine bay size.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Cause two smaller turbos would be awesome.

This engine doesnt move enough cubic air to require the need for two turbos when one midsized or larger turbo can do the job just fine

IMO the only way a twin turbo setup would work because of the low displacement setup we have is if it was a compounded system like say a factory toyota supra setup or something where you have one small turbo for quick low end spool and then switch over to a bigger turbo for high RPM boost through switching valves...

but then you have the added weight and cost of running two turbos...im sure if sized right for your goal and needs, you could get great spool and power....with this cars high compression and direct injection features, lag with a bigger turbo is not as bad as ppl think it is. im running a gt3582r turbo and you can hear mine start spooling as low as 2800RPM and full song by 3200RPM then i still have over 4k RPM to play with. this motor loves to push big turbos for sure

They've been putting turbos on bikes that rev higher than these cars for a long time, so one liter spinning a turbo properly is not the issue. The problem is that a turbo designed for one liter takes up more than half the space of one designed for two liters, so it is just too much work to get a pair to fit for the minimal advantage you might get.

Other than the cool factor, even I can't see the point. Twin charged makes sense but not twin turbo
