Make sure to tell MotoIQ about this so they don't recommend anyone else to that $#!thole shop! What a terrible situation. If it were me I would be in jail right now for assault and battery.

I'm starting to think we might be getting our chains yanked..... His profile shows last activity today like 6 minutes ago and I even sent a PM asking for more info, so why wouldn't he post an update?

Sorry I haven't updated the story!

After being ****ed around by one of the owners for quite a while I got a hold of the other owner, the guy that actually did the work. I told him things were going nowhere and I needed things to get done. On top of this they still haven't refunded my money.

About 3 hours after I got off the phone with him I get a call from his insurance agent who set up a claim. An adjuster came out two days later and I got a check about two weeks after that.

A month after their insurance paid out the original charge was still on my credit card! At this point I had no choice but to open a dispute. This process took another month but I finally got that money back.

In the end they did eventually make good on their word, but only after lots of effort, headache and pushiness from my part. I'm glad its over and behind me now, rather not think about it because when I do it boils my blood all over again.

For people looking to get a clear bra installed, don't be afraid to ask questions! If the installer starts to get irritated or angry, red flag! Ask for references and to see recent work. Ask how they will be cutting the clear bra, even precuts need to be trimmed some time. Most importantly, ask for their insurance policy BEFORE HAND!

Anyone looking for a good clear bra installer in So. Cal area (Long Beach vicinity) should call Norbert at Crystal Auto Shield 877-707-4435. He came out to my house and installed Xpel ultimate film on my Raven FR-S. Came out great. Reasonable prices. Film is much more clear than 3m Scotchguard, no orange peel look.
