I haven't gotten a chance to take any pictures or video's yet, but I am actually surprised at how QUIET the Grip exhaust is! I honestly feel like I will need to get either the test pipe or an intake just to wake it up a bit... Does anybody else feel this way? I like how quiet it is at idle, but unless it wakes up a bunch after 4K rpm's (I am still in the break-in period), I feel it is actually only moderately louder than stock... It does sound good though, just quiet.

It actually gets quieter the higher up you are... at least it seems that way.

That is not what I wanted to hear! I guess I will be getting an intake once Perrin finally releases their CAI. If that still doesn't wake it up enough, I guess the Ark Test pipe in in route... Why not spend more money, right?

I have the airaid intake, but will be ordering the test pipe as well. Might eventually get a header (if any more development occurs). I like the volume because for autocross and drag racing, it won't be obnoxious around the track, around town it's enough to let people know you have an exhaust, and at idle it keeps people guessing. Perfect to not draw too much unwanted attention.

Apparently ARK has a video of what it sounds like with a test pipe. They will be emailing me a link soon, so hopefully I will be able to hear what that sounds like. If they follow through, I will post the link in this thread.

Please do. Just out of curiosity, do you have an intake also? I know that tends to make exhausts louder also.

Funny because some owners think its loud. I just installed the DT-S this past weekend, and even that exhaust is not loud at all (and its suppose to be the louder of the two).
