They were pulled from their site because a good amount of the modules were causing the DRLs and Headlights to shut off randomly. I had an RMA on my pair for about 6 months and instead of trying to give me another one they refunded me and i got a pair of beatsonic always on modules for equal price from FTEIGHTYSIX

Yup, I actually got a replacement for mine as well. Although I don't think the Beatsonic one works on the BRZ. Wonder if anyone could weigh in if I'm incorrect on this though.

I knew the Always on from diode worked as a double for the FRS, but im not sure about the other way around. Only flaw in the beatsonic is that it runs 50% and its stuck at 50%

The ones from the FRS are brighter than the BRZ's as is I think - so 50% for you guys is like 100% for the BRZ

Either way, better than having to turn on the park lights all the time IMO.

So Diode seemed to have issues with the QC on these. Did this one ever give you issues? Seems like it's the luck of the draw

Nope. As stated in the first post, works perfectly. The first unit that was sent to me had problems, so I had that replaced with this one.

You mention this is 100% brightness. Is this the 100% of what it normally is (with the knob turned) or is it brighter (enough to use them as DRLs)?

Thanks

I don't think it increases the brightness of the boomerangs, just keeps them on all the time.

FWIW - Mine's been on for about 3 months now. Love the mod. You can control the brightness of the LEDs when in night mode and it leaves on the boomerangs in daylight a la BMW, Mercedes, Audi. Never made sense to me to only have the boomerangs on when the headlights were on, never noticed them.
