I only replaces the seat because the Stocker was causing my back issues to flair up and I couldn't fit with a helmet on. I don't really care about asthetics and would rather use that money else were.

Very nice work. I too am pretty tall (6'6") and actualy find the head room quite good so you must be around my height or taller.

I want to keep the stock seats and am trying to think of ways to lower the seat and push back further.

I am 6'5 but I have a big head so that maybe part of it. You maybe able to move the rails rearward but the front seats look pretty close to the rear seats as it is. I don't think you're going to be able lower it anymore unless you can find a way to hard mount it.

You have a big head? My nickname on the minesite is Potato Head!

I figure it is going to be hard work to change the seat position short of:

- removing rear seats
- remodelling rear seats to make them a bit smaller (they are basically useless anyway)
- modifying the rails slightly
- smaller steering wheel

Not a major issue as I am quite comfortable in it and will only run into any drama when going to the track and wearing my helmet.

Not mad keen on spending a fortune on an aftermarket seat to only benefit me an inch at best.

That looks great! I'll hafta ask my friend if he wants to trade his stock WRX wheels for some BRZ wheels when I get mine

I am surprised there has not been a back seat delete yet. And a D shaped steering wheel would probably help that, but that maybe close to a new seat in price.

There are always used racing seats.

There has been a bit of talk on various forums about it, but nothing concrete as of yet. I might look at something like a substitute seat arrangement or just a slight mod to the existing seats when mine finally arrives.

Love the look of the wheels on the orange. I think the orange really suits a multi (10+) spoke design in a silver or light grey (NOT CHROME! ). Are you thinking of plasti-dipping these? Also, what size are these wheels and how much heavier?

I hope they do, back seat is useless!

I thought about powder coating them but didn't want to wait to put them on (patience is a virtue I do not possess). I'd love them in a hyper black, but not sure how that would work.

Hyper black could work really well, sort of a cooled magma to go with the hot lava
