IAM looks solid, but fuel trims are fluctuating a bit. I'd be proud of my tune if it looked that good before polishing the maf sensor scaling. The only thing I could ask is if you have done any maf scaling before. It's pretty close now, but there is room for improvement, since the st fuel trims hardly go beyond 10, and the lt fuel trims don't go beyond 5. Have you run this tune for at least a week? I recommend using shiv's ECU speed learning technique if you haven't. It's really a thing, just google it.

There is a table called Port Injection MRP Compensation that will impact the PI under positive pressure.

All load limits etc are defined.
@Kodename47, how should this MRP Comp table be changed to compensate for boost pressure? Here is the table I'm currently using. I've found that too much PI knocks a lot more, so I'm using very little PI in the PI/DI tables. Here is the PI/DI table I'm using.

ECUtek have some recommended settings, so I won't "give" those away. However, you would benefit from it looking somewhat linear

So, above 0.0 pressure I should have compensation above 1.0? Can you tell me that much at least? I've modified the table to be more linear. Is this what you are hinting at?

What can you tell me about this?

@Kodename47, @shaynek is getting a lot of knock under boost at low rpms and I'm trying to help him fix his tune. What can you tell me about modifying this table to prevent knock under boost pressure? It looks like it's getting maximum advance at 0.0 PSI MAP, or, is that the maximum advance PULLED from the total advance? The table properties are undefined, so I haven't a clue whether it's timing added or subtracted from the total. I suspect it could also just be bad petrol, but that's another step to try later.

Yup, that looks fine.

That table looks like the retard applied when clutch is depressed. Best bet is to look at load limits, fueling and adjust the timing tables for the load if required. Boosting at low RPM is always going to be a little knock prone.

@Kodename47, You're a legend, many thanks...! I'll work on using that and update with results.

@KoolBRZ thanks, will check out your attachment and look to future releases. No worries about going off the radar, I didn't have much time for tinkering so was watching your updates from afar.

Ask @KoolBRZ for the latest tune. Finally fixed the knocking issue and the car feels strong.

Just sent @dtek a PM

@dtek, just sent you a PM with the latest tunes, including Port MRP compensation, plus the latest PROcede maps. These are still in American units, that's what the stage 2 tune I started with used, but it could be converted to Metric without too much trouble.

I have probably got the definition in metric if needed.....

Hi guys,

2 weeks on......

Stock D00G car running Wayno's Stg 1 98 v107.2 tune.
Fuel - BP Ultimate 98

2 Logs attached:

http://datazap.me/u/fibble/oft-stage...o?log=0&data=1

Note: ignore FLKC due to problems with OFT.

Trims still look a little out and AFR a little rich.
MAF scaling required?

Thoughts on whether there's still work to be done (timing and fuelling) or is this acceptable variance for Stg 1 tune on an FA20?

Thx

First post on the forum.
So I'm running stage 2 uel 91 octane with 92 oct. 1320 headers the flex joints are gone. I wasn't going below 1 iam until the other day, and i wanted to get the differece in the command afr vs afr fixed up, but now I'm getting a lot of random small knock. i took some long logs. If someone can check them out that would be great. I haven't been able to do a couple of 3rd gear pulls, but will post a couple of logs as soon as i do. sorry still pretty new to tuning.
As far as I can tell I have no exhaust leaks, but the afrs seemed way off and I don't want to damage my car.
