Since the original color was Asphalt you could have just got it fully detailed and opti-coated and had about the same effect... eh? hahah only a joke. I like it!

I wrap and that's a great job. Tasteful accents as well. I am wrapping a Avery Blue Chrome GTR at the moment and it take patience to install that film properly with maximum coverage. Clean lines too. Well done OP( and the shop who performed the work).

Did you contact your insurance about coverage? If yes, how much did it increase your premium?

I didn't, but Eurowraps covers the wrap for 3 years and has some goodies on top of that. I HIGHLY recommend them and they work nationwide.

Eurowraps doesn't cover physical damage do they?

With the attention your car will get, it will attract a lot of haters too. I would be concerned about someone keying, throwing a cig/cigar on the car etc. I understand it can be replaced partially, but if someone keyed both sides of the car, I would think it could cost upwards of $3K to fix. I wouldn't want to be on the hook for that kind of money.

Being scared of haters is no way to go through life. If people mess with my car, it's just a car. I wouldn't even want revenge. If someone blew up my car tomorrow, I'd shrug and start over again.

We are all lucky to be living lives where we get to talk about cars and spend money on silly parts that don't really matter. 10 years ago I was living out of a Ford Escort, I always try to remember that before I take life too seriously.

It's not about being "scared". It is about risk/loss which is why insurance exists. I have had cars keyed and was thankful that I had insurance and paid a $200 deductible instead of $3-4K on a new paint job...maybe that is why I have never had to live out of a Ford Escort

At the end of the day it's the owner's decision to do whatever he likes with his car. Whether if it's worth the consequences or not is based on personal utility.

Very nice, just curious how many times has the car been washed since? Wanted to know if swirls would start to show up. Always thought about gloss wraps but worried about swirls (not sure if someone asked this already)
