I don't know if anyone else noticed but the seat pattern is the exact same as the front grille of the car. A small detail but a very nice tie-in to further differentiate the FT-86's seats from any other Toyota/Scion.

there is plenty of room for a turbo kit. especially if you put a small battery in there.

What do you mean? I didn't notice any similarity.

so it looks like it's going to be another DBW set up. i wonder if toyota is going to use that same stupid system that applying the brake shuts the TB.

I highlighted what I meant below:

The pattern on the seat is the exact shape of the grille "holes". It's a nice touch.

Did anyone else notice how odd the strut bar is? It seems like two that are connected in the mid-rear of the engine bay instead of one that just goes straight across. o.O

Oh I see what you mean now. I thought you meant the red stitching pattern or something. You have a keen eye for details there. I really hope that honey comb like seat design makes it into production. The suede on the other hand I don't really care.

Those have to be heated seat buttons! And the headliner looks sculpted like the roof, perhaps to make more room for a helmet. nice to see the thought that went into this car!

thats not actually strange at all

its just a 3 point front strut which many aftermarket companies make

different style but same purpose

The only gotcha is the strut-bar is missing the 3rd side of the triangle, so there's room for improvement, assuming it's relevant.

It's very cool to see the upholstery pattern mirror the grill work.

That was a good catch by whoever spotted that. Nice touch.

The battery is sitting on a body panel which looks to be angled toward the motor right where the turbo normally fits on an EJ motor, and the motor is MUCH closer to the firewall. I don't think the traditional turbo location will work, but there is always hope.

Looks like a Subaru throttle body to me.
