Great write up @cheeseburger ! I think that swap is going to become super popular as people start picking these cars up cheap.

Thanks man! I think you’re right. Once theses start popping up sub 10k. It will open the door for a lot people to really go nuts with the platform

Finally got to learning this summer up until last weekend. Had some struggles the first few events not knowing a thing. Also it can be hard at times trying to learn when you have to wait in long lines trying to get a lap
Only damage the car took was a few scratches and a bent tierod

Where do you guys go for your drifting fix online? I used to really enjoy peoples progress and development of this platform but this thread is dead more or less.

I watch FormulaD on youtube and go read up the driftworks forum every once in a while. I am familiar with the drifting subreddit, too quiet for me. Any active drifting forums with build and technical sub forums?

I would appreciate any referrals to get my fix

Instagram, honestly.

Other than that, there's an awesome channel on YouTube called Edge of Traction TV that plays 24/7 drifting: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbk...Z4ZP3K1R9r63OQ

Seems to be there is a much more active facebook group for our cars. If you are on facebook, look up GT86/ BRZ/ FRS DRIFT.

So just finished reading the 102 pages of this thread, now crosseyed..

Got a drift day on the track coming up and hoping some of you can clarify;

1. What is the best and most effective way for drifting to disable the nannies?
a. Pull the ABS fuse-only
b. Pull the ABS fuse and do the pedal dance
c. Just do the pedal dance
d. Pull the ABS fuse and do the 3 second push on the traction button

2. If I install the inner tie rods for more angle, will an alignment be needed?

Cheers!
