My Sonic Blue GTS with opti-coat

Hi All

Finally got my car a couple of weeks ago and loving it. Got it opti-coated by Frank @ ***************** last weekend. So it was time to take some photos.

I think it's the preparation that goes into it that makes the most difference. Frank spent the majority of the time preping the car e.g. washing, polishing etc then the last thing was the opti coat. I'm no expert but the opti-coat adds a little bit more shine to it but it's main job is to protect the paint.

Driving around afterwards, it definately got more attention!

Yup! Wasn't too sure about it after seeing it in pictures but in person it looks great! I like how the colour sits on the shapes of the car, it gives it so much depth.

The panels exposed to light have a nice shine in what look like a light blue while the panels in the shade have a deep blue look with a mirror finish like you get on a clean black car. I like it!

But like black I think it will be a pain to keep clean.
