@Victor Draken Ferrari's 6.3 in the F12 is a symphony orchestra trapped in aluminum.

Turbos are banned in top fuel, so not going to see them there...

I like turbos better than superchargers, but currently superchargers are the best simply because they offer a bolt on solution that in some cases comes with a good reflash that's CARB approved.

A lot of people don't want to deal with getting a custom tune, or simply can't.

Until there is a bolt on turbo setup (most require some sort of modifications as well) that offers the same features as a SC at a competitive price...

I sort of want to see a top fuel car with a turbo per cylinder. LOL

You can go to Compton and Road Drag race. We use to drag race in the industrial areas in Compton, Dominguez and Paramount in the way early 90s before the Fast and Furious crap started; or what Hollywood would later rape bits of the Culture from. But back then the Scene was mostly Integras, Civics and other front wheel drive cars with the odd Datsun 510 that would come stomp everyone. I miss those days a lot. But then again I didn't have the sh!t I do now. I mean crap I dreamed for like 13 years of getting a 911 Turbo. But it seems that the N/A Porsches are making more power than the ole 993 Turbos of yesteryear. But I sure wouldn't mind having an old 993 Turbo in Arena Red. Porsche has a close color to Arena Red. If I wanted Arena Red on my next 991 Porsche they will charge Paint to Sample which is around $8000!

Sorry for going off topic. Babbling....

They have an electric motor that runs the turbo when their RPMs are low so that they don't get any lag/torque spikes.... you're comparing apples to oranges

Correct. If you give me a turbo with an electric motor strapped to the shaft... now THAT is a whole different turbo. This technology is coming to the street but it's going to take a while.

Innovate, Jackson Racing, and Vortech are all CARB-approved if you run their CARB tune. Kraftwerks has applied for approval and expects to receive it in 3-6 months.
