that's what i'm curious about. i've been reading lots of mixed things about wmi on na engines, but nothing that consistently says it's a good or bad idea... so, i'm hoping ptuning can clear things up for me...

You really wont get as big of benefits as the boosted crowd does.

In a nutshell, you'll gain a better octane rating on pump gas wich will allow you to adjust timing slightly to gain a few ponies.

And you might make the intake air a tiny bit cooler, but not drastically.

To be honest, we won't know unless we test it out. WHITE is correct as to what we gain with W/M.

With W/M, we can safely run less fuel (leaner AFR) and more timing on a boosted motor because it raises the effective octane rating of the fuel. The problem with an NA application on 93 is that we're already running the fuel as lean as you would for max power. In addition, we're already so close to or at MBT timing that there is very little room to grow. Guys running 89 or 91 will likely see gains but for 93, we're honestly just not sure.

For testing purposes, if you guys are interested and we had a volunteer, we could setup a rig to mount all the necessary hardware outside the vehicle and run a dyno tune on it. The only thing we would need to do is tap an intake pipe for the nozzle. This way, we don't have to go as far as installing the entire kit.

Hey guys is the AEM controller your using able to be remotely controlled from in the vehicle? With ecutek allowing multiple maps would it be possible to shit it off/on on the fly with the map switching. I love chacing power but I also have a few tunes that are strictly for my daily drive where the system isn't needed.

The controller is located by the reservoir in the engine bay. We set the settings during a dyno tune so there should be no reason you'd need to go back in and change the settings later. The nice thing is that since it's a progressive controller, the unit must hit a minimum boost pressure before activating. This would mean that during normal driving conditions (transients, light acceleration, etc), the pump would be off. In addition, most of our customers specify a low and high boost map via map switching. It would be possible to run the low boost map off spring pressure and set the minimum activation pressure higher. This way, when you switch to higher boost, the W/M will activate.

I'm also interested in purchasing the RHD version of this kit!

I Currently have an HKS V2 Supercharged GT86 running around the sunny island of Malta (Europe)

It would be great to run this kit! i'm very interested in the RHD version

We've had a few interest in the last year or so about a RHD version of our Pnp WMI kit but without having a RHD car here in the USA, it's difficult to create the mounting bracket for the WMI bottle which bolts right into the OEM battery location. If you all can solicit at least 10+ RHD owner that is seriously interested in our WMI kit for the RHD 86, we can make up a RHD prototype mounting bracket for one of you to test to verify fitment.

EDIT: Just realized you guys are in VA, thought PTuning was slightly closer..

What are the advantages of running this setup over something like Snow Performance?

Our kit is meant to be as easy to install into the vehicle as possible. The only fabrication necessary if you're not running our turbo kit is to mount the nozzle on the intake tract (our turbo kit already has a 1/8NPT bung welded onto the charge pipe). The reservoir, controller, and pump are directly bolted into the engine bay, no modification/fabrication necessary.

what would happen if one wanted to run your WMI kit with say an Edelbock?
what does one have to do it order to achieve this? will the systems play together nicely? any additional tuning required?
