Question Scion FR-S on Squared 18x9.5

I am planning on running the Rota PWR's 18x9.5" square set up.
What tire size is recommended for a perfect flush fit. The car will not be tracked and I prefer stance with minimum stretch. Would a 235 tire fit with +35 offset?
thanks :happy0180:

It will fit but will stretch more than you would prefer. Try at least a 245 but I think a 255/35 would be the best fit

WOW!
Perfect fitment man ! What are you lowered on?
Any camber?
Are those regular rota torques or ultimate concave?

235 is fairly stretched. @DarkCard, do you have a close up picture of the stretch on that tire? Bet'cha it shows a bit better up close than from far away in those shots you posted.

I'm actually in the same pickle, I have 18x9.5 +38. I don't know what tire size to get, something that still provides maximum grip but doesn't require fender work

How much could the car safely drop without rubbing and very little camber?

What he said. I have this size in Michelin Pilot Super Sports on Work CR 18x9.5 + 38 and have absolutely no rubbing issues and required no fender work at all.

Enough. Please don't mount less than a 245 on a 9.5 inch wheel.

I have my front camber maxed on the top hats, but as you can see not a whole lot. Regular torques, and I'm lowered on fortune auto 500s..

Despite what people want to say its not a crazy stretch, Its perfect without going overboard. I daily the car everyday. Just make sure your not aiming for potholes like anything else. 245 you wont be able to get as low without some rubbing. (and poke)

A 9.5 deserves real meat. 265/35/18 is what we're on... Feed your fat wheels!

What did you have to do to get this to fit?

I'm looking at a set of 18x9.5+40 NT03+M wheels and would love to go "honkin' huge" on the tires.
