Yea I go to Livermore Subaru too. I am actually there right now. Did you have the maintenance plan that you bought with Subaru? If not, I suggest you find a good shop to do the oil change. The stealership charges an arm and a leg, service is nothing special and takes a hour to hour and a half for a change.

Bought my car from Livermore Subaru and was very happy with them. Haven't taken it there for service (been doing it myself so far), but if I did I would probably take it there first.

I have had 2 services at Capitol(it is 10min from me where Livermore is 60) without problems, but others have had problems with their service department.

Thank you all for your input ! i guess i will go with livermore subaru. The reason why i am bringing it to the stealership is because this is the 1st oil change for the car and i think subaru covers it so i don't have to pay a dime for it.

good luck with that... i didn't get any free oil changes with mine. But i've done mostly my own oil changes, and far more frequently than the 7500mi interval recommended by Subaru. It's actually fairly easy to do the oil change yourself on this car, so if you're at all mechanically inclined I'd say save some money, just buy the oil and filter and do it yourself.

Same here, didn't get any free oil changes. First time doing things myself and it really has been a breeze on this car.

Go with Livermore
Mod friendly for sure. Matt the service advisor has an EVO and is pretty cool. I've had intake, header, exhaust for 3-4 services they never note anything. He did mention however he had to deny another warranty claim for a BRZ because they threw a turbo on.
