That was my bonehead mistake lol. I didn't know what they meant by top off so when filling it out I wrote down the whole sump size, luckily Blackstone was smart enough to see through my ignorant mistake.

Top-off (make up) oil = oil added in between oil changes, so for me that would be zero since I didn't add any extra oil in between oil changes.

Mobil 1 0w-30 lab results

DandoX your wear metals look great, but the viscosity sheared to a 20 weight which is typical of a GF5 Resource Conserving 30 weight oil.

Silicon is decent which typically shows air filtration (unless it’s an oil additive and or a new car). Is this an aftermarket or OEM air filter? I’m going to guess aftermarket panel filter. Any power mods? What’s your driving style?

I'm using a wix air filter ( I really like it), no power mods, I drive pretty easy most of the time as it's my daily, and no additives. I don't take her to redline as often as I used to.

Do you think I should go to 5w-30 for summer or stick with 0w-30? I do drive her hard more often in the summer and plan to autocross in the near future. I got the analysis to help me decide if I should start running 5w-30 instead.

Thanks in advanced.

99% of people who send their oil in for analysis get good results and 100% of them ask if they should switch to a higher weight for the next fill.

Autocross doesnt abuse oil like a trackday would, so you should be fine even with 0w20.
