So I have to change the cl/ol because default is -1. Assumed it was looking for the break so set it to 2

I will reset the maf volt to 5 rather than 3 but my entire to is in cl.

Thanks for the help

ol cl transition should be arround 3v maybe 3.2 v

closed loop fueling mode is 2
open loop is 4

make sure your not logging injection mode that is port\direct injection.

@steve99 this is probably a dumb question, but how do you past from excel into RR? Edit > paste doesn't seem to be working for me...thanks!

What if you only want to process high intake temp data? That would be cool if they also had a min temp setting as well. Can come in useful for tuning for high temp and to do MAF IAT compensation tweaking for specific temp ranges.

You can cut and paste maf data from VGI tool directly but it does not work from excel to romraider directly.

but you can copy from excel to vgi tool then to romraider.

@steve99, on the vgi tool once you generate the new maf scale and go to the chart page, do you use _copy_ or _copy romraider_ after selecting the cells? What is the difference between the two copy functions ?

As always I appreciate your help and all that you contribute to the forum.

copy_romraider will allow you to copy/paste directly to romraider

copy will only allow you to copy to excell or notepad ect.

Yeah, I'm logging OL/CL and not injection mode. I logged about an hour of closed loop data yesterday. One thing became apparent, OL would kick in and out depending on how hard I pushed on the throttle. But even if I accelerated as slow as possible (using cruise control to increase speed) once MAF voltage hits 3.0 it goes to OL no matter what else was going on.

When selecting my filters for closed loop data it seemed reasonable to use 3.0 V max on the VGI table. My intention was not to stack multiple logs with OL/CL data mixed but to only attempt to collect closed loop data and scale that first.

That's kind of what I thought. It was late and I was trying to figure it all out. Do you have to select all the cells in the vgi tool and then copy_romraider to get the whole table or is the whole table selected by default.

The reason you can't copy Excel direct to Romraider is that it expects the top left cell to contain [Table2D]. You can use excel if you offset the top row 1 to the right and add that in. It'll look odd at the 2 rows won't line up but it'll work Obviously the Copy Romraider option does that for you. See what happens if you do that and then paste to Excel....

You'll never get a log with just CL. There are multiple reasons the ECU switches to OL. Throttle angle, speed and the OL fuel map are all factors. Realistically I doubt you'll get much reliable data above 2.5V.
@solidONE just use the log stats screen if you want to start playing with IAT compensations. I do everything in that tab, including MAF changes. It's quite powerful.
