its pretty straight forward when you do it but OPs instructions are pretty much spot on. the normal key has everything you need in it. i removed everything and used a heat gun on the little chip. i also used the original key and just sanded it down with cement since no dremel.

i has no video making skills but i could try

in order to make a video, i would have to make another one from scratch. if someone local wants a flip key and has all the parts, i would do it for them and we could video tape it.

if you have any questions about the process, feel free to pm me.

I want to know this too... any able to get the transponder out with out destroying the original key? Is there a plastic casing on top of the transponder chip or is that the actual chip that you see when you're looking inside the key?

I tried for half an hour to cut it out using an xacto knife and had no luck. Looks like you're better off pulling the one out of the valet key.

just order the flip key housing and transponder key from ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-REMOT...5b435d&vxp=mtr

and will try to following this instruction to see if it works or not, really don't want to rip the original key apart...
