OEM Chevrolet Corvette 17x9.5 +56

Got bored and decided to throw these on to see how they look. Keep in mind I'm going to strip them back down to aluminum ( i bought them like this) and my car isn't lowered. I think once I do both they will look a lot better. Haven't seen it before so figured I'd be the first.

Wheels are 17x9.5 , et56 5x120 bolt pattern. 1 inch adapters were used and I don't seem to have any rubbing issues inside the wheel well at stock height, I think the fronts might rub a bit if I lower it. If I like the finished product I'll probably try to find 17x8.5's for the front.

I'll try to get some better pictures once it stops raining

Definitely different. 5x120 would be a VW fitment if I remember correctly. I'm surprised you went to the euro fit instead of a Japanese fitment.

Well technically these are 5x4.75 which is a US fit. BMW's are 5x120. Older Vw's are 5x100 the newer one's are 5x112. I actually bought these off a guy who was running them on his Passat wagon.

Wow stripping these things is not fun, IDK what kind of paint this guy used but aircraft paint remover is barely doing anything to it. Between Two people we got one and a half wheels done in 4 hours. Hopefully these things will be stripped and polished by the end of the week.

Haha that shit is bananas. Glad you're stripping them down. They look heavy as nuts though. I tried briefly searching to find out how much they weigh, but there's an overwhelming amount of Corvette knowledge online, and I'm not sure exactly which C4 wheels these are.

These weight approx 25lbs. With the hankooks on them now they feel lighter than the stock wheel/ tire combo

Yes it should be 31 offset, maybe 30.8 but close enough. Tires that came with them were stock 215/45R17so there was a slight stretch to them but looks like they'll work out perfect once dropped
