kengushimode
Hey yo ft86club, pseudo in the hizzous!
So look, when I be cruisin down the 2-9-5 at 100mph with some fine bitches in the trunk, i be all like - easymode drift via kengushibuttonGO! Next thing you know, the car be sliding around like im ken block with the windows down. But my car ain't pimpin like a g thang should, so i gotta put on some chrome boots, yo! What size platinum rims and what kind of rubber does a thug gotta choose to keep kengushimode on his brz? </thuglife> Okay, for real now - I am looking at putting some new wheels on my car for when the winter is over. A lot of people are shooting for grip when they choose new wheels/tires, but I am looking for controlled loss of traction at the limit. From what I understand, the grippier tires are, the more prone to snap oversteer. Is this correct, or am I completely off the mark? I really don't mind the oem tires on the brz. They don't offer much in terms of raw grip, but they make driving at the limit quite accessible. This is important to me. Since this is my goal, should I stick with 17x7 wheels and put oem rubber on them, or is there another option that gives me easy slide control at the limit? Any supporting suspension mods like sway bars, control arms that have the same effect that I am looking for? Thanks, and ft86club.. keep it G. Last edited by pseudo; 12-16-2013 at 10:42 AM. |
