You realize that the car @Tainen is talking about is owned by him, correct?

The one running a full 3" exhaust and tune is Jason's personal car. And that particular test was done using our now rally car FR-S.

No, no nothing of the sort. Jason is still kicking around here, he is one of our owners after all.

He and John are over in the UK this week actually.

Yes, i know he was an early adopter, but i was referencing the dyno that came up a few months back that was of Jasons car. Tainen might have been confused but he said the car wasn't tuned.

Tainen was talking about his car with the first design series.

The other later header with the graph with the torque spike in what is usually the valley, but a preceding mini dip, had the holy hell tuned out of it.

I remember the regression problems. The MoTeC option should help identify the problem by assuring a stable tune.

The whole confusion is Tainen was talking about his car (with header, not tuned) and you were talking about the Dyno chart that showed something like 40 WTQ gain on the torque dip, which was like you stated, tuned and was done in the black car IIRC.

I think Nameless didn't want to release their previous dyno charts because it raises an uproar when you don't have dedicated stock baselines and one variable change dyno charts all from the same day, same dyno. It's smart to release the charts using the scientific formula, but that takes a little more time and effort than iterative testing does, due to the need to re-baseline for customer numbers.
Thought you was dead, man. Glad you're not! hahaha

What dyno graph are you guys looking at??? The one in the first page is from June 2012 and I'm pretty sure since he mentions in the post that tuning isn't available that it's untuned.

I haven't seen anything else besides that dyno....

Also what software is having regression issues? Last i heard was perrin was having problems over a yr ago. Would probably be good to know if we have to buy some crazy expensive stand alone to get full power from this header.

Is that tuner related or software? Like maybe the same person who catches them on fire?

Edit: around the late 1100s to early 1200s posts in this thread.

Hi Hawaiian. As you can see in my post that you quote, I quoted a post that said "original prototype." Not "recent prototype" or "4 months ago prototype." Thanks for calling out my completely correct and accurate statement as BS, because you didn't read.

The regression problems also showed up with un-tuned cars as well, when we first put my car on the dyno we noticed regression when adding more than one variable/part at a time. We also documented this information in the downpipe and axleback development threads from the first two weeks of the car's availability. But you know all that already, just adding that info for others.

I'm alliiiiiive! I've just been lurking, honestly.

I'm glad the header is for sale on the website. I've been hoping Nameless would release it for quite a while, and to be honest, it was a little disappointing, but I kept hearing stories of their other projects and business deals taking up most all of the time of their decision makers and product developers, so it made sense, but I just want to see these guys turn their extreme development into extreme customer available parts, not just axlebacks. Once the header becomes widely available, it should really help cement them as a company that can offer race application headers, like similar boutique fabrication companies. I wanted to just keep my head down mostly, since the header wasn't released.

I'm waiting for those dyno charts like everyone else- should be fun to dig into them once they are available.
