Yes, forgot to go wide before the crest, plus cold tires in the first lap -> off I went . It was my first time at CVR too.

I used to run at the Gainesville Raceway road course back in the day. It was pretty open, If you are near there I highly recommend it. The held cheap test and tunes back in 2007 and then I ran with a group that rented out the track every-once in a while

It a wonder how I couldn't get a faster lap in vs this session with all that traffic. Maybe I should put more pressure on people I'm trying to get around next time?
I don't think it's about putting pressure on people, that's a by-product of doing yo thang. Reminds of that Initial-d episode where Takumi gets coached not to look into his rearview mirror so that he can simply drive the way he knows.

I think Karl filmed or timed me during our run. I want to see a brief video of how crappy I drive. It's been a long time since I ran on track. More practice is necessary on my end!

Yep, been busy at work, but I'll try and upload the vid tonight. Might be a bit shaky since I was using my arms as mounts.

All good. Not too curious. More like concerned at how bad I drove.

Well that's one thing, but times I've hung back behind people for more than a lap waiting for a point by. And I'd also like to be aware of folks behind me in case I've been holding them up for a prolonged amount of time.

Sorry, I dont watch Initial D. lol

Dude, where did you mount your camera? I mounted mine right above the Scion logo and got this shaky footage:

And yes, I shouldn't have slowed down at those finishing seconds..

EDIT: Nevermind.
