To me the person cruising at 70 in the left lane when every other lane is going 70 as well is a way bigger douche bag than I am.
Me too!

We need to adjust our freeway speed regulations to something similar to the German Autobahns, where conditions allow. 70mph just feels slow in todays sports cars/sedans-they are safe, stable and very controllable at higher speeds. I yield the left lane to faster traffic, and appreciate the same from other drivers. It's the jackass blocking the left (express) lane, oblivious to the fact he's creating a safety hazard by forcing other to change lanes, who would do well consider others.

I understand that you say you go over the speed limit and that the left lane is yours because you do this. I'm going to assume the speed limit is 65 and that everyone is going 70 because that is acceptable. Once you start hitting the 85 range that's a little over the top. Only people that should be going 90 in the left lane are police and emergency vehicles.

Side note I do agree with people not sitting in the far left lane going slow.

I think I deserve the left lane because I am PASSING, not because I am speeding. The left lane is for PASSING not speeding so if you arent PASSING get out of the left lane. If the speed limit is 65 and you are going 80 in the left lane but everyone else is going 90 in the right lane you are still an entitled douche bag.

Don't worry about me I'm the guy who sits in the far right lane going 70. When I see a truck driver who clearly wants to change lanes I make sure to give them extra room. I also let people merge in who don't abuse the lane.

I just want to make sure people understand that aggressive driving is unacceptable and we as awesome ft86/scion/brz drivers should be setting the example.

Agreed, now i won't really do this in other cities but here in Texas it's normal to be like that.

To add, I spent my honeymoon in Italy and if you arent passing in the left lane YOU are the asshole. I was going over the speed limit in the left and I had people speed up behind me, tailgate me, flash their lights, and then flip me off when I moved over. Thats how it should be.

Biggest douche drivers I encounter here are Prius drivers.. They are always cruising in the left lane going 5-10mph under the speed limit and refuse to get over. I encounter this weekly. And on single lane roads where you cannot pass I tend to get stuck behind them and they are almost always going 5mph under the speed limit.

I hate Prius drivers. Take the bus!!!

I hate the fact that prius drivers don't understand how to properly drive the vehicle. I tried to explain to a girl who's mpg was at 32 that when the eco light comes on that means you're at the sweet spot of mpg. She said she likes power....................

I hope it did not come off that way. I was just stating what I am seeing.

also I'm not jealous of a $25k car (no offensives to another here).
