a quick (really quick) photoshop interpretation of what we can imagine behind the stickers, the holes on the bumper have disapear i think, it can't be able on the stock car

For the rest, i think it's quite the same thing than the concept but not so agressive, and more realistic

Finally, it will really looks like Celica or Honda RSX, but RWD

I don't like this one bit. I was ready to sell my kidney for the Scion FR-S concept. If this is the FRS, which it will likely be, I will be looking at a use s2000.

I'm not liking the looks of this. It's starting to look like I'll be getting a Supra Turbo.

Nice comparison! This definitely looks MKII, so I have a feeling that it might be the euro version. Just because autoblog said that it was the FR-S doesn't mean it's entirely true. Also, I'll wait for the production version before I make any assumptions. It looks great to say the least!

Looks are really only secondary to me. First is how it performs and how easy it is to work on.

I am curious to hear what xantonin and Sonydigital have to say about this test mule. I think they were 2 of the few that really liked the Mk2 version. Wonder what they will think of this?

Dean I put it this way your looking for a fast car that you want to make faster? That's cool but this car is going, to be more along the lines of moderately quick to start off. Toy/Sub are not going for speed here. This is about being light weight, having great balance, and well managed power. Not saying you can't make it a screamer of a car, but it not what they have been shooting for. They are just looking for a an overall great, fun car. I think the show stopper that you were hoping for isn't here. As for the SS you are talking about getting, you can have that. I don't like the way drive or feel on the road. Its was a 2010 I drove for four days... The ride quality wasn't all that great, but maybe they have gotten better, and I don't know how well they are as track cars. If you get one let me know... I do like the look of the car.

I voted for the MKII myself as well. It looks similar to my eye, but I still have that feeling that the Scion version will be different. I love the huge exhaust on the back, looks like a G35.

Anyone else see what looks to be front headlight washers [the square covers below the headlights]. Also fog lights in the outer bumper polygons with the turn signals, and [gasp] LED DRL's in headlight cluster. Looks to be a projector beam headlight

Also note the mini shark-fin antenna on the roof; no stupid whip antenna!
Yeah, looks like we are gonna get nickle and dimed on the Advics... oh well... w/e

The car is going to be pretty much the same world wide. Minor differences like side markers, headlamp washers etc are gonna be the only differences. Don't get your hopes up.

Speaking of which,
Toyota, had you been satisfied with showing the MkI concept, this would have been more than fine. No, you had to go and follow up with the Mk II and the incredible looking FR-S. Now the production version will look tame beyond words. Even though you can clearly see what looks like a MkII body () with a MkI style front bumper, in my head you've already ballsed this part up (irrespective of the fact that this could look quite good). Please bring the goods in the power-weight, handling, price and driving dynamics/feel department.

That is all, thanks.
