Can't get my phone to take pics, memory full, but this morning I found like 5 wasps dead inside my filter besides leaves.

I am gonna chime in on this DIY. Although the DIY is basing the instructions from the manual, it is a fact that you don't have to pinch that plastic pin. Anything requires pliers to pinch plastic is a serious risk of deforming or damaging it.
Those with strong fingers go for it and pinch it out. Otherwise just press out the side tabs and the whole box should come down. Just be sure not to let it drop or else that could cause some damage. My suggestion is to revise the DIY to reflect that. |

Changed my filter today. Do it this way. No need to pinch anything. Takes about 5 minutes, and I'm slow, to replace the filter. Went with the DENSO 4536001 filter. Ordered 2 from Rock Auto, $11.15 each shipped.

I have a question:
If I were to do something like get a replacement filter and saturate it in perfume, or some scented oil from bath and body works, would this have the effect of more or less permanently scenting the cabin air?
