installed my first ford ev charger today.
the tesla charger is slightly over-engineered, but by comparison, is an elegant design in simplicity. the ford charger is like equipping ones self with a sledgehammer to visit a book store.

My parents just had a charger installed for their Tesla. I was surprised how simple it was, but it makes perfect sense.

the smoke is still in this one! same drill a co-worker tried running it between gears even, still doesn't slip.
used it with a 1-1/2" hole saw, hand tightened chuck. go try to get my arbor out and the chuck starts spinning freely. so i cut the chuck apart until i got my arbor back. made some cool sparks. funny part is the chuck screw broke on this drill about a year ago, but i can't get the rest of the chuck to break loose from the drill. this weekend i'm getting some bigger tools out to try. if i can get the chuck carcass off, i'll replace the chuck and keep it for a backup drill.
