Just because.........The disparity between them is noght and day Just because.........One happens to be arguably the best manual in the last 20 years and the other isnt.... Just because......one of the models mentioned could actually make the car physically and technically faster Just because......... Need me to go on??????? I thought that being a FT Club someone might know that all.....obviously not |

This is a big issue for me, I rely want an ft badly but if they put an ay6 in it I'm gonna have to pass. unless they can fix all the grinding, crunching, jamming, popping out of gear issues. The X-Runner's and some other taco's came with the ay6 and lots of us are having problems with them especially us boosted guys.

I would bank on it being the AZ6, the AY is more often used in larger vehicles like SUVs and pickups. The AZ seems to be exclusively used in sports cars.

Subaru doesnt use any Aisin manual transmissions....as far as I know.... Believe it or not, now that we know that a turbo will not be emp[loyed, the chance that the ay6 will be used is much more likely. |

From what I remember/heard I thought they were going with the same 6 speed that's in the NC miata? If it's true this is very, very good news.
