We are cat lovers, but if one not my own ever ran out in front of me...it's owner would need a new cat! I'm sorry to hear of your misfortune. Your insurance company will "hook you up" right?

The whole thing was pretty painless to deal with. The cops didn't even hassle me lol. Insurance "hooked me up" I guess. I had just come back from Hot Import Nights, so my car was immaculately clean. They gave me excellent value on the car. I was able to save my wheels, fender winglets, and strut tower braces. My only hang up was suspension. They wouldn't let me swap out my coilovers . It happened on Monday and I was back in an 86 on Friday.

Next time, I'll hit the cat and not a tree..

Boost by gear would let you get by with a smaller tire size while maintaining the limit of your traction. You'd do something like... 1st gear 5 psi 2nd gear 10, 3rd gear full boost. Obviously just estimates as you'd have to tune it in for when the car became undrivable/a burnout monster.
