Given our fucked up country you surely would. If you have a pulse you're good to go.

Here's a link comparing the 2016 vs 2017. It's growing on me more than I thought it would.

After looking at those direct comparison photos, the new 86 actually looks sharper/more aggressive. As much hate as the front bumper is getting, I think it will look good as a whole in real life. If I saw one on the street, I would still go "Damn, nice car"

this time Conventional
Maximum output (net)
KW (PS) / Rpm 152 (207) / 7,000 147 (200) / 7,000
Maximum torque (net)
N · M (Kgf / M) / Rpm 212 (21.6) / 6,400 - 6,800 205 (20.9) / 6,400 - 6,600
Fuel consumption rate (JC08 mode)

Wait, what is this? That's not Oceanic (Lapis) is it?. Looks a few shades brighter.

Edit: Its probably just the computer rendering messing with the color. It appears, however, to be Ultramarine and not Lapis...curious if that's what is still offered in Japan as opposed to here.

For a second I thought maybe Toyota was swapping Lapis with their Electric Blue, which would actually make me a happy camper.

The 2017 6MT will likely get worse mileage than the 2016 because of 5% more aggressive gearing (4.3:1 versus 4.1:1 final drive).

Also curious about this. The photos from the cars announcement were in what seemed to be a lighter shade of blue than Ultramarine/Oceanic. This doesn't seem to be light enough to be electric, but I would love to see them offer that color on the 86.

Tbh I like it without that badge. I don't need every parts telling me they're STI. For me, I try to take off much badges/logos as I can on my car. Ppl will know what kind of wheels, exhaust, aero kit I have, if they're fan or they can ask.

Yeah me too, I don't like badges. Subaru and BRZ badges have gone from the trunk. I also have STI parts, but I would never put the STI badges. I like to be in a kind of "stealth" mode

Looking at the 2017 parts catalog it looks like (as of yet) the SACHS shocks won't be available in Canada/USA. Expected because of the monospec, but still a bit sad.
