This thread has been derailed to be about boobs .. haha .. I guess what thread technically wouldn't if it has the chance ..
Also my girl is a bit shy and we should keep our eyes on the road right? :P

but I'll probably swap out the shock and struts to the newer set if my current one goes bad

I am amazed at the number of people that have drove with the different suspensions under such controlled conditions that they can tell the difference. The changes are minuscule between all the models yet appear to have massive changes when measured on the titcur scale.

Especially since nobody has mentioned the size of the instruments used or shown any video data -

Yes, it will go for it. People have done MY17 shock + springs on 2013-2016 models.

Yes. The ride is much more compliant. The OEMs also add a fatter rear sway bar ( a whole whopping +1mm) to counteract the slight increase in body roll in the corners too.

Shocks were the same between FRS and BRZ, springs were different.

Fairly noticeable step up in ride quality with the 2017+ shocks. The 2013s were a little rough especially, and I think 2015-2016 are OKAY.

I'm....sorry?

With our springs, certain roads do feel better/smoother while some types of roads will feel a little bit worse. With 2017+ shocks again it's a little better.

If you haven't already make sure you check classifieds because people often want to get rid of their stock equipment and you can get good deals.

Yea I been checking those daily, haven't had much luck I'm about to just buy them new. My left rear shock just started leaking, not bad for 94000 miles.
