2010-present Active Duty Air Force E-5
I work in vehicle maintenance, so i get to wrench on cars and trucks all day and get payed for it which is great. Also I was stationed in Japan when the 86's came out and saw/sat in a BRZ before they were even released in the states.

USCG 1982 - 1986. Telephone tech (TT3) on the Cutter Gallatin (378') out of Governors Island, NY for 2 years and 1 year in Manasquan, NJ. I would go underway again in a heartbeat if they called me. Loved being out at sea bustin' bad guys!

11B(P)
Spent just under 2 years at 3rd Batt (Regiment) in Benning, PCS to 82nd in Bragg, subsequently lost all motivation to stay in due to how horrible that unit is (at least 4th brigade). Left in 2011, haven't looked back.

Coast Guard 2002 - April this year. Flew H-60 helicopters and loved every minute of it (the flying that is)

Long range, heavy lift.
Well now Major, do all the other Marines drive 'Stangs or what?
Even the Coast Guard has better representation so far!

BIG difference between A type an Alpha type!
Is there? I thought that's what it meant.

Ok, my turn. 84-92 Navair - VQ-1 EA-3B EWOP. Finished out my last 3 driving the 610 shop at NAS North Island.

Nope! Alpha refers to the actual TOP. "A" type WANTS to be top!
Sky Warriors eh!? Makes sense, as from what you said before you wouldn't fit in many other aircraft!

I can see that.

edit: Respectfully, the correct term is "former." "Ex" is for the OTH crowd.

There. Got that off of my chest.

Good point!
We have so few OTH in Canada that the term ex does not carry the stigma it would there!
Can't change the thread title of course but did add a disclaimer in my opening post.
