Sick build! Have to ask where you got the black STI fender garnishes from? Did you paint them or got them direct? Would love to have these in black...

Not a big fan of fenders with fake vents. I prefer newer STI fender garnishes.

Meh.
Fake vents, especially in the fenders or quarter panels, have been a design feature since cars became common. It isn't a new fad.

Yes sure they exist for a long time. I just don't like them

Yes . They are the Gazoo 86/BRZ Racing spec coilovers . They are basically same with these ones:

https://www.trdparts.jp/86_zenki/parts_suspension.html

Both of them are manufactured by KYB. Just different coloring between STI and TRD.

In general all these suspensions were used in the Gazoo races. I would buy them used only if I could rebuild them. I asked once if they could rebuild them in KYB Japan before shipping and they said NO.

Hmm... I was checking again the pictures and I found something interesting! This suspension comes out of a Kouki BRZ car. Check this extension in front suspension here:

I was not aware that the new specification suspension was ever used during races in the Kouki's cars. It is same with this one:

https://www.trdparts.jp/86/parts_sus.html

Thanks

Okay I just finished this last night. Got some lazy photos this morning

of note there area few things I would like to point out

The OE badging comes with blue foam for alignment purposes.

Trunk carpeting makes the whole trunk look alot cleaner

The Stopper Hinge is on most Twins its the plastic nub that your hinges rest on when its full open.

On wing'd models of the twins
this plastic bumper is in four locations, two on the base of the trunk and two that rest on the little platforms.
It takes a 17/64 drill bit (a hair bigger than 1/4)
Fits in place. Didnt bother to get the right shock for the trunk

And ended off the night with my "tire delete"

When removing the spare tire ( half my foam is missing anyways)
it left an area in the trunk which caves in due to weight and since I plan on bringing track day stuff I need something sturdy. So some 1/4 inch particle wood and rubberized paint and bam. Delete in place.

Rear applique because i have good rear bumper paint and i wanted to scratch up vinyl instead.

there are two alignment divots in the bumper that match with the applique. i just eye balled it and sent it

Putting both upper and lower rear stopper is it a good or a bad idea in your opinion?

May someone check if the 2015 tS rear subframe is the same of 2013 tS or the standard model?
