As soon as I got a VIN, I put my 2010 Golf TDI up for sale. At the same time, I took it to CarMax and a VW dealer to see what they would give me for it.
With those two offers in hand, I took it to the Subaru dealer for an evaluation. I got them to match the other, better offers. With the car being a trade-in, I get extra money taken off for sales tax (an extra $1000 or so savings). They are also letting me keep the Golf until the BRZ comes in, so I don't need to worry about getting a ride back and forth from the dealer. It worked out pretty well, I must say. |

No trade.
Keeping current Legacy 2.5GT so I can take that to the mountains during snowboarding season. BRZ is for daily driver and occasional track/lapping days.
