Coilovers and LCA's
Im sure this is answered someone but if someone can give me an answer I will appreciate it. I ordered some fortune auto 500 coilovers and I was wondering do i HAVE to get toe arms and LCA's or will the camber and toe be relatively the same after installation. I will be getting an alignment after i receive them and install. I think im going to do around a 1 inch drop or maybe a 1.5. Please help thanks.

Lowering car will increase negative camber. To not fsck up geometry and not rise need to buy many more parts to workaround/fix, suggesting to keep lowering within 1".

At that much drop you will end up with a little over -2 degrees in the rear. If that is acceptable to you then you should be okay. I bought toe arms and LCAs and set my toe arms to the same length as my factory ones and it was close in the rear so it may have been okay without them. I am a little over 1.5 inches of drop.

If you have the money for the LCA and toe arms I say get them. You'll be able to get the camber and toe dialed in exactly how you want vs. whatever natural camber you get from lowering. If you want to just DD with a 1" drop, LCAs and toe arms are not needed.

but my opinion (and what i may do) is lowering it then seeing how awful/good it really is before deciding if i should get the extra components..unless you just have the money to get it all at once then do that lol |

I'm running fortune auto 500 coilovers, with spc rear LCA, dropped 3/4 in. Everything aligned how I wanted no problem, without using the special TOE bushings. There is also spare room both directions on the camber adjustment in the front. But the drop height is the relevant factor here, so look for others with the height drop you want.

The only reason I bothered to run LCAs and toe arms is I track my car and wanted to make sure I could dial it in exactly as I wanted. |

LCA's and Toe arms
What LCA's are the best bang for my buck. Money isnt a huge problem but dont wanna buy something overly expensive. I know SPC has a LCA and toe arm kit for 220 but heard mixed opinions on quality as this car is a weekend warrior and might see a track once maybe twice a year where is my best bet?

Can’t go wrong with the SPC, but I like the white lines which are actually the same thing but silver and use a poly bushing instead of SPCs fake pillow ball bushing. Whitelines for $198 shipped https://m.ebay.com/itm/Whiteline-Adj...IAAOSwB09YJQ5G Forget the toe kit, the 86 lateral links have tons of adjustment. |
