I'm tentatively planning a 7am Pinehurst -> Redwood -> Palomares run on Saturday morning. All are welcome to join.

there are a few options... last year we did a short run up and over Mt. Madonna via backroads and Hwy 152. I'll look at maps and pick out a route but typically we'd start somewhere in Los Gatos or San Jose area. The pie run will not be too early in the day as the place doesn't open until 9AM and to be honest I like to eat pie/dessert after lunch, not around breakfast time. Last year I think a bunch of us met up at Almaden shopping center, ate lunch or snacks together, then started our drive to arrive there sometime in the afternoon.

Those who want to make a driving day of it, could join @Clipdat on the morning East Bay drive and then make their way south for lunch and pie after? I might even join on that too, we'll see.

I won't know if I can go until an actual route is posted. I usually have to wake up at 5am to make any of these drives.

Here's the East Bay portion. Saturday 10/31. Meeting at Starbucks parking lot at 720 Atlantic, Alameda at 6:45am or so, leave at 7am.

Route will be Grizzly Peak -> Pinehurst -> Redwood -> Pause/break at Peet's CV parking lot (20439 Redwood Rd) -> Continue on to do Palomares canyon road down to Sunol Super Stop gas for anyone who wants 94 or e85.

OK I've created a new thread to announce the Gizdich Ranch Pie Run 3 for this Saturday! Those who want to join @Clipdat for the morning drive can do so, and then head down south for the pie run too to make a whole day of driving if you want it.
