My friend sat on the bumper of my IS. He has wearing jeans. I didn't like it at all. The metal above his jean pockets scratched it. I subsequently injured his bottom. (Censored)

To me it was a $300 dollar repair bill. Wasn't too bad, but still. |

The last car I felt comfortable sitting on was my dads 55 Oldsmobile.

I would like to disagree. Me and this asian girl I met at a club sat on the back of my car after the club closed and talked for like 2 hours on top of it. No indentions or anything. hahah and she had her heels on my bumper. No places at all.
Why? Because YOLO. IDGAF. |

Back in the olden days of yore when cars had those carburetor thingies, I was driving down the road and I had a full can of coke I didn't want so I threw it out the window which was the style at the time.
I was going about 50 mph and I thought for sure that the coke would go up in the air and I'd drive right under it, because I was stupid. I mean, I still am stupid, but I was back then, too. So anyways the can of coke goes about 5 feet up in the air and it lands on the trunk of my 1976 Celica GT and made a big dent. Also one time I kicked it really hard and left a dent. Then one other time I snagged the fender lip on a truck bumper and tore the metal. So guys, I'm just warning you, don't do any of that stuff. It's not good for the car. |

Up until a few years ago, I used to grab a couple every time I went to the Tillamook cheese factory. They stopped selling them there and I haven't seen it anywhere else around here.

I have always opened the trunk lid and used the actual trunk as a place to sit if was outside parked chilling somewhere.
One time some guy had his soda bottle on top my dads van. I told him to take it off, it's not a $30,000 coaster. He asked if I was worried it would scratch, I told him no get your shit off my car. Some people are just retarded/don't care or have respect.

One part of one vehicle you CAN sit on. That is a tailgate of a "pickup truck" otherwise rather then a warning more of admittance of stupidity sitting on any part of a (VERY) light metal built car, as are all other new cars really. I suggest packing a quick pop up stool available at Cabelas or such for future needs.

I was just talking to my friend about how embarrassing the online Frs/brz community is, so I log onto this site to find an example and this is the first thread that I see. Point proven, I guess!
