From the Nameless FB page when questioned about the header:

We did another factory fit version of the header to try to avoid requiring an upgraded fan set and shroud, and it didn't get the results we wanted to see. So we either go flat out with the 'This is illegal as stink in STX' version of the header or we keep hacking away until we get those results from a part that bolts into the factory envelope.

They also have stated that some people might not want to replace the fans. I think they are wanting to make a bolt up option with no modifications required. Just saying.....it might not just be the STX thing.

Pennsyltukian hillbillies don't need no stinkin autocross. All up and down the Appalachians, the Rockies, the Ozarks, etc. there are untraveled gravel/dirt roads that need exploited by this monster header that requires taking a hack saw to the fan shroud to get it to fit. I think its a selling point, means business.
