Hey are all the parts installed on your car now? How do you find the rear axle if any difference at all?

Straight off the STI boxes and also off the Bilstein shock silver stickers and the Bilstein plastic bag white stickers (by the way the shocks read Made in Germany both on the shock stickers and engraved onto the shock body at the very bottom, no Nurburgring logos):

STI Strut (Front) Right Hand X 1 - ST20310AS040
STI Strut (Front) Left Hand X 1 - ST20310AS050
STI Shock Absorber (Rear) X 2 - ST20365AS020

The matching pink springs for them (these are Made in Japan, not sure who makes them but stock springs are made by Mitsubishi):

STI Coil Spring (Front) X 2 - ST20330AS010 (this is not the same part number as the front pink springs for the stock shocks)
STI Coil Spring (Rear) X 2 - ST20380AS020 (could have saved some money here as I have them already but everything comes as a set from Mitaka Subaru STI in a big ass box - Japanparts didn't repack them to rip me off on shipping charges this time around - man those cheap bastards sometimes)

The last main piece to the overall puzzle for me would be the thicker rear axles, but that's for next year.
Interesting because in this video at 1:41 you can clearly see the start of the Bilstein part number 24-2313...50?

That's what I'm after, namely the fender vent piece as the old one is in the old WRB and wouldn't match.

Ah okay sorry I keep blanking out on that number thinking it's something else, my bad!

Front Left: 35-231332
Front Right: 35-231349
Rear: 24-231350

I tried looking them up on the Bilstein online parts catalog but nothing comes up.

Are those new calipers in the video? Or the same ones from the WRX?

CSG Mike made a good point, they're probably not available unless going through Subaru due to what ever contract they signed.

Why would bilstein have it in the first place? Lol they're OEM spec'd; just manufactured in partnership with bilstein. It's like expecting recaro to sell the specific ts upholstered sportster cs

Just like when I bought Golf GTI Eibach Prokit blue springs that are custom made for VW/Votex in Germany and not available from Eibach (different from their off the shelf catalog Prokit blacks in America) but only from Volkswagen, I couldn't get the spring rate specs from anyone as they are well guarded secrets.

Because anything can be obtained with the right amount of money or with the right connections.

Okay the STI x Bilstein Damper Kit was installed in the morning, car re-aligned in the afternoon. You can read my car's setup at my garage;

Because the nature of Bilstein shocks even with 15mm lower springs, the wheel gap is back to stock (maybe it'll sag a bit in the next week I'm not sure).

Here's some spiriting street driving impression (just normal A and B roads no highway driving);

On A roads, the most obvious difference compare to the previous STI pink springs + stock shocks setup; tire grip and lots of it. The increase in tire contact pressure with the ground is so amazing that I've noticed slight improvement in acceleration, braking, but most obviously in cornering where the back end reacts much faster than before. The initial turn-in sharpness has also improved. The more grippier feel in cornering is very similar to when after I installed the flexible draw stiffeners. Steering weight also feels a little heavier, even when I'm back to running within stock specs for front camber (I have the OEM crash bolts installed and used to have a little more negative camber).

Now I can only imagine what would feel like with the tS rear subframe spacer + bolts upgrade and the steering gearbox spacer + bolts upgrade.

On B roads, small and medium bumps have smoothed out as I have expected. Large bumps on the other hand feel pretty much the same as the previous setup. Overall if commuting in slow and moderate speed traffic you would be hard pressed to notice much difference, this also make me appreciate how good the stock shocks are in reality.

Compare to my friend's previous Mk5 Jetta 2.0T with Eibach Sportline springs and Bilstein Sport Shocks on 17" 225/45 profile tires, this STI setup with 17" 215/45 profile tires is not as stiff or jarring and I'm very surprised. I ran a Mk5 Golf GTI with Votex / Eibach Prokit springs and Sachs / Eibach Prokit shocks on 18" 225/40 profile tires and that ride was much stiffer.

I don't track my car so no track impressions my apologies.

BRZ tS and STI parts List

If only that were true about the tS badge hahaha

Also: there would be no bilstein US part number regardless because it's a jdm part. If anything you'd be looking at bilsteins asia distribution, which at that point why would you just get it from japan parts anyway cause you have to import them in

Anyone have part numbers for those new black fender garnishes?

The previous ones were silver, and also only available in 02C... Since this tS is a 2015, I'm assuming its available in 07X

The STI website mentioned a little bit related to this.

http://sti.jp/product/brzts2015/mechanism_p2.html

Google translate:

"During cornering, pleasure to manipulate freely the behavior of the car by the accelerator work. For RWD cars, the accelerator is metaphor with second steering. In order to convey the variation of the driving force by the accelerator on / off at the time of acceleration or deceleration appropriately to rear tire, SUBARU BRZ tS by thick 4mm the diameter of the drive shaft relative to the base car, improve the torsional stiffness about 20 percent.
By shortening the time lag due to the deformation of the shaft, it is to obtain a traction in a more direct sense It has become possible. Thus despite not alter the engine characteristic from base vehicle, You can feel the excellent drivability in response. At the same time increased also maneuvering stability, especially in the accelerator off during turning in a two-speed, three-speed, hold out a sense of rear tire increases. Further, when the driving force is transmitted from the differential to the drive shaft, and is excellent in the main reduction of unpleasant vibration generated by the low-speed traveling.
Since more easily further synchro gear is synchronized, it is also brought effects to smoothly than before shifting feel."
