It's pretty rad, definitely feels smoother and for low HP/TRQ cars it's more friendly. Place is a roller coaster.

Hi there,

Were you using stock top hats or aftermarket top hats?

If you are using stock top hats, did you use any camber bolts or re-use factory bolts?

Mind sharing your alignment spec?

Thanks!

Vorshlag Camber plates for 60mm sprints. Factory bolts will protrude the suspension out and it would rub on the struts.

-3.2 front and -2.5, -2.6 setup by Edgar Morales (@endlesspain) on this forum. He was instrumental in building the car, taking pyro readings, watching videos to finetune suspension etc. 0 toe all around.

I'm using Raceseng CasCam.
My alignment really depends on track and tires I will be using. Since I do my own alignment, is beneficial for me.
It can be anywhere from 3.1 to 3.5 front, 2.5-2.7 rear with maximum positive caster.

Wish I got some video but I don't have a good in car set up right now. Ran NHMS (chicane/chicane) last weekend in the BRZ. The car is stock outside of camber bolts and Conti ExtremeContact Sports (225's). My fastest lap of the weekend was a 1:26.4 and it happened to be during the time trial.....always a plus.

This was my first event in the BRZ and I was very pleased with it's performance (my track car is a SpecE46/BMW 330).

Spent the weekend at Palmer Motorsport Park with my local time trial club, COMSCC. Brought the BRZ, obviously, and had an awesome weekend.

The car is still stock....with the exception of camber bolts and 225/45 Conti Sports.

Saturday was extremely hot and humid. The best I could muster was a 2:01 (womp womp). Sunday was roughly 10-15 degrees cooler which lead to faster times all around. After continuing to learn the car and getting more and more comfortable, I was able to run a 1:57.1 during the TT.

Overall I'm pretty happy with that given the "lack of tire" on the vehicle.

For reference the fastest BRZ in the club (won his class last year - has Formula Ford history) ran a 1:52.x this weekend......on Toyo RR's......with camber plates, Ohlins and ~100lbs less than me.

You mean Sash? Might want to check the times again when they post them. He got into the 1:50's. He was hauling.

I was in the Dark Grey #76. By process of elimination, were you the yellow 2017? I think we had a good back-and-forth in the morning practice sessions?

That looks like a super fun, super safe track. Thanks for sharing. I especially like the skidpad-esque turn in the middle of the track. What an unusual feature!

Yes, I was the yellow BRZ.

Wow!!!!.....I had no idea he ran a 1:50.xx! That's insanely fast for a T40 BRZ. Either way, kudos to Sash.

This past weekend was a ton of fun. Congrats on getting your license!
