I’m back baby!!!
Ok guys I’m pleased to announce that after 14 months of not having an 86 I got one back!! On Friday I purchased a 2019 86 TRD special edition!!
As some of you know Toyota bought back my 2017 model back in May of 2018 due to a CEL issue. So instead of getting what would have been my 3rd 86 I got a 2018 Camry instead. A very very nice car I have to say. XSE model with all the bells and whistles. But I missed my 86 so I had to get it back. I had a 2015 model but I lost that one to the hurricane we had here in Houston a couple years ago. So now I’m back with this 2019 model. I have to admit I did get used to all the nice features that the Camry had but as they say it is what it is. So let me here from u guys and tell me what y’all think of the TRD special edition.. Look forward to hearing from y’all Thanks Albert |

Welcome back and we need pics!
I like the TRD version except for the side graphics, they're just not my thing. |

If you remove the side graphics, are you then modifying out a part of the TRD package, and thus no longer true full OE TRD package equipped vehicle? If selling used later, would this affect resale value ?

It depends on who is buying it. The VIN still shows it as a TRD car. I doubt dealers would care if it was traded in without it. Same probably goes for private party deals since a lot of people seem to be removing it.

True, but there probably is a part # for it. It would just depend if someone required it, upon buying it. Or you buy the sticker graphics thru the dealer, deduct from asking price.

Congrats!! I actually opted for my 19’ base model over the TRD because of that side graphic but I did have the TRD wheels and lowering springs added.
