BTW - You mentioned you lowered it 1" around. How much did you have to adjust them? I want to do about the same.
+1!

I'm still waiting for my R1s which I believe have similar off-the-shelf rates and hoping to get some guidance from you on where the lower perch is to get you at 1". I'm hoping to get max height (I know i'm crazy) which I hear results in about 30mm drop but i'm going off my crappy memory for this. If you were able to get 1" that's less than 30mm which would be fantastic.

20mm drop is just enough to clear most parking blocks and over the years i've had enough of tearing up front lips

I don't really remember but I think the fronts off the shelf were 1 inch or extremely close. I'll snap a picture of how it sits when I have time. Keep note that height could also set a little more.

I mounted my MCS reservoirs the same as the R2s in the front. It's easy to just put them under the fender liner where the brake hard lines run.

As for heat I have measured mine with a pyrometer and they definitely heat up to 90-95 degrees. I checked the pressure and the difference hot and cold was negligible. You could always use some reflective heat barrier if you are that concerned.

I have mine sitting in my garage... maybe I'll assemble mine this weekend and throw them on the car. (Mine came in pieces due to the way they were ordered)

Are you keeping the front oem crash bolts at max camber? I've read that it's recommended to get camber at the hub and to add any additional camber with the camber plates. Adjusting camber at the hub won't change the geometry of the coilover angle.

Yes.

While correct, it's way easier to get camber with plates.

To adjust, yes. Just set to max during install, most will still be adding some up top anyways.
