Just picked it up - oh, man is it fun to drive. I haven't driven a stick in about a year but the FRS drives so easy it's amazing. I love the chirp when shifting into 2nd and the handling and control is ridiculous. I've only put 15 miles on the thing, but had 3 different completely freak out about it:
- One dude was riding a bike when I was at a stop light and spun around so quickly he almost fell down then shouted "Holy Crap!" I chatted with him for a bit, and he said I made the right decision with the Scion over the Subaru - We parked to get some food and two dudes in brand new A8 drove by, parked, walked over to car and checked it out/took pics for 2 minutes then headed away. - When we were getting into the car after dinner a guy walking by shouts "that is a HOT car" then we chatted for a few minutes. He was completely blown away and kept trying to convey how awesome this car is to his girlfriend. |

Heads may explode when that happens . I'm right downtown, where are you? Maybe we could get together this weekend. Plus, I'm sure there's probably a car event or two during Memorial Day weekend we could show up at.

Nice! Waiting to order mine until this weekend. Have a few options I'm toying around with, but want to wait until I get a better feel for the car before deciding on which one. Jim Lee at Champion ordered "13 FRS" for his (whiteout, still on his own waiting list) when we were in his office.
