I am at 5 years 11 months of ownership. Purchased 07/02/12.

I lived 30 miles outside of town. In June 2012 I saw an FR-S online, called the dealership to make sure they had it, and left my house in a hurry. Only to have the salesman call me a when I was almost there to tell me they had sold the car! THIS HAPPENED THREE TIMES!!!!!

I was sooooooo happy when I got to the dealership the fourth time, and MY car was there!!! YEAH!

73373 miles this morning.

So, where's the photos?????

Yeah we in Canada are definitely metric as is most of the world, since 1975 or 76 as I recall. It's actually a far superior system but the US and UK keep hanging on to Imperial measurement with its difficult units conversions and of course the US had to have their own non-imperial gallon just to fuck things up even more.
Canadians typically talk miles or Fahrenheit when speaking with Americans if: they are old enough to have a feel for conversions or have spent significant time in the US or UK.

Now, measuring weight in stone is absolutely fucking ridiculous but so is eating bacon fat on toast.

They started changing it in 72. I spent my Public School years in Imperial and my High School year in metric. It was confusing until they started to actually change the quantities and signs in 76.

The US can't even spell it right.

This is a meter:

It is the base so therefore just a metre!

Time sure flies. Pretty sure it was 6/7/12 when I picked mine up. Got called in as soon as they had some show up. I didn't have a preorder, but was on the list in case others fell through, and I wanted to sit in one to make sure I'd fit (6'4"). When I got there, the salesman pointed at the 2 BRZs and said, "The blue one is available." Traded in my 2010 STi.

She's been my DD for 6 years. Now...well, I'll let the picture speak for itself.

Curious if anyone over 100,000 miles has sprung the big bucks to change the fuel filter as per scheduled maintenance. I only use 93 or 94 top tier fuel so hoping at that point she still runs good.

I picked mine up on 5/12/12. I got a call from the dealership (Friday noonish) she was in and ready for me. I got to the dealership after work, around 5PM. The car was on the showroom floor, with a rope around her. As soon as I saw her I knew she was mine. Had told my wife I was undecided if I'd actually get it. Was getting ready to sign the paperwork and the salesman pulled some BS with my trade, so I got up, said call me when you get your head out of your rectal cavity and left. I had no intention of not getting the car, but wanted to make a point. Sure enough they called first thing in the morning and apologized, so I went straight to the dealership and brought home Alyssa. We've been together for over 6 years now and the honeymoon still isn't over.
