My friend had a 300ZX and could only hand wash because it leaked so bad ^^
Sure proper care could prevent but that's exactly the type of thing that makes me like the relative simplicity of this car. |

I've owned a targa Supra and t-top MR2. They are cool at first, and then they creak and leak water. Hardtop FTW.

A targa 86 would rock so much.
There's a pic around here SOMEWHERE of a red mockup with the boot lid including the rear window. a 2 seater Targa I would have bought in a heartbeat. |

I say no as even the Supra targa top you feel the body flex with the top off and I don't want body flex with my FR-S.

You know...In the 6 years I had a sunroof I used it a handful of times and more then likely only cracked it open. I slide the cover back on my TL once and a while...but really...a sunroof is added weight on the top of the car, the worst place to have extra weight. People dont want that...the car wasnt made to have a high center of gravity.

The shape of the roof wouldnt allow for a sun roof though...the taga top would be about the only option for making an open roof that isnt a convertible.

Yah, fair point. We're all just dreaming anyway. T-tops are a pain.. gotta have space in the trunk. Hope it doesn't rain... gotta pull over to pull them off.. meh.
