As a few others have mentioned above...I was looking for the newest tunes, now that I have a laptop. I was hoping for a stage 2, 93 octane tune.

Make sure your logged in as administrator.

If the auto update still fails manually delete the C:\openflash directory then download the openflash manager software ofm latest version from the openflashtablet.com website downloads page and manually install

http://openflashtablet.com/Automotiv...ads/index.html

also grab the latest template file and apply that to oft

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I got a right angle extension cable for my OFT. I ran it to the passenger side under the radio, but on the other side I can't figure out where to put the massive connector from the factory OFT cable. I thought about just splicing the low profile extension onto the OFT cable, but after opening up both cables, the OFT cable has a full 16 wires, while the extension has only 8. Plus the extension shorts the two long pins (4 and 5). Would I loose any OFT functionality by permanently splicing on the 8 pin cable?

Think this is why I've heard that extension cables may be fine for logging, not for tuning etc

I don't really feel like resetting my tune right now so I guess I'll try the logging and hold off on modding the cable until I try tuning with it.

Thanks for the input.
