Does anybody know whether the Nur kit will be an option for the FR-S?

It can sure LOOK rice, and this certainly qualifies. Anyway, I remember reading about some research on the aerodynamic effects of many OEM wings and spoilers and very few of them did anything useful until you got to speeds over 100 mph - in fact some generated lift!

Well, Toyota has been using this kit in all of their Nurburgring races, so I imagine it actually is functional. And i think it looks great!

It's function is to add weight and look gross.

And besides even if it is functional this car is going to be a lot of peoples DD so it is rice for their car that they never take to the nurburgring or go pass 100 mph in cause like them I will be driving this car to work and other functions that do not involve the necessity of the body kit. Hence it's not functional for me and = rice

So by your reasoning anything they don't need during their daily drive is rice. Like a 200hp flat four or a manual transmission or the sporty look with a low center of gravity. We should all drive smart cars basically. I'm not saying I like or dislike the spoiler but It's personal preferance and your lableing is a bit misguided and trivial.

That is so over the top... but then maybe being ott is one of its goals.
Anyways doesn't a MASSIVE wing, and side skirts that remind me of Hammond's Hyundai S Coupe, go against the notion of the FRS/BRZ as a lithe canyon carver and throwback to simpler cars?

Oh please. It has "86" on the plate and a Toyota badge front and rear. You may as well say GT-86/FR-S/BRZ.

Hence why it's called "optional" equipment...
