What I've found that works perfectly with ECUtek is:
Flash, it asks to turn ignition off and on to reset the ECU and then it asks you to clear DTCs, which you do.
While still in that state, press the pedal 5 or so times (I do 10).
Either start the car and leave to idle for ~1 minute or lturn the car off and idle the car the next time you start up.

On my second tank of gas after installing the e-force s/c, I didn't count the first tank because I was enjoying the car a bit too much to be a fair comparison.

Pre-s/c, last fill up:
25.10mpg

Post s/c, second fill up:
19.56mpg

I got better mileage with my STI...

You guys must wind the snot out of your cars at every opportunity, I routinely see 29-30 mpg for a tank.

Bay area traffic city driving only... When I lived in the country I used to get ~29mpg. But yes, I like the gas pedal.

Yeah, I have a stock BRZ motor still (really considering this SC is why I'm here), and I get about 21 mpg unless I take a trip on the highway during a tank. Traffic sucks. Used to get around 30 when I had a low-traffic, highway only commute.

Basically the same observations. City mpgs took a good 2-3 mpg hit while freeway driving was relatively the same. I think it has something to do with the internal bypass valve. It probably stays mostly open when cruising but gets closed (therefore loading the sc) when constantly doing pulls like in stop and go traffic.

What year STI? I had a 14 that was lucky to see 21mpg average. After e85, it dropped to 14mpg

2008, stage 2 protune. I would routinely see 22 mpg/tank, better if I wasn't beating on it.

It's a fairly big drop in mpg... Anyone know what this kit + e85/Flexfuel would do?
This is around a 20-30% decrease. I can only imagine it'll be more.

Of course the drop in fuel is at least compensated for by the massive grin factor :-)

What is everyone using as an oil cooler solution with the Edelbrock supercharger?

So far most have been custom due to the location of the intercooler. Mine is very similar to @NotSoJDM except with crappy hardware store brackets. I have a setrab 619 and racerx sandwhich plate.

If you want one that works with the kit, you're going to have to hound Edelbrock for a Russell kit. They have the ability and resources, just need interest from customers to justify production.
