Allen called me over the weekend. They have (had?) a MT Firestorm on the lot that wasn't spoken for at the time he called. I'm interested in a test drive to get a feel for the MT, but I'm not interested in the color or possible options.

Asphalt MT. Zero options. Gotta get my 2010 MS3 sold first though.

Oh ok. I think I saw one or two dealers that had them, but I wasn't into the color. I sold my MS3 earlier in the year. Hehe

I actually replaced my 2010 with a 2012. (Wife's cars). I get the "privelege" of driving the 2010 until it's sold. I'm not complaing though as my normal DD doesn't have air conditioning so I'm using it while I've got it.

I loved my Speed3 and I DO miss the speed!! That thing was crazy fast with BT and supporting mods. If you haven't driven a BRZ or FR-S yet, you may be disappoint if you do. The MS3 (mine was 2007) was tighter, faster, and stiffer. Instead of falling on its face after 5500rpms (without mods) the FR-S slouches at 3000rpm until its out of its dip. But, it is rear wheel drive and fun to push to its limit with getting into trouble like on a fast Fwd car. We'll see what happens with the Visconte tune. Maybe you should hook up and drive someone's FR-S.

I was able to test drive an AT at Leith a month or so ago, but that's not really a fair comparison to the MT. When I get an opportunity, I'll check out the MT. My normal DD is a '93 Nissan NX and I have a strong suspicion that the FRS and the NX will share some similarities, with "light" and "low-power" being two of them.
