Stock exhaust midpipe resonator delete

I have a complete perrin cold air intake and I would like the exhaust to be just a little bit louder than what i have now I also don't really want to spend 800 to a 1000 dollars on a good exhaust. I was thinking of deleting the midpipe resonator from the stock exhaust and just going with a straight pipe from the cat to the muffler. has anyone done this and how does it sound?

no clue on how it would sound. imo if you just want to change how it sounds go to a muffler shop and see what they charge to get an axle back system set up.

It sounds REALLY raspy.
But I have a nameless catless header, fp/op.
I actually don't mind

I would love to hear this. I actually dont mind a bit of rasp myself. As long as its good sounding, not 'ricer fart can' rasp..
I think this is 'good rasp'..

Found this a while ago. I was considering this as well, but this video, whether its the quality of the clip or the camera or whatever, it dissuaded me from doing it.

It doesn't add a whole lot of sound to an otherwise stock exhaust.
It just makes cold starts a lot louder.
