I am loving it thus far, I am hoping to get dynoed this Sunday at the local Cars & Coffee meet; a mobile dyno crew typically shows up to this meet of all sorts of makes and models.

Then, tomorrow I will be picking up the oem oil cooler parts for the Forester XT and a little more than a quart of Motul Gear 300 for the rear diff from @autobrz. Then on the coattails of all that, Saturday my 6000k low beam bulbs are supposed to arrive from @Diode Dynamics.

I am going to be one busy bee over the next week or so. Those lugs will be going on my desk to remind to pay my bills so I can then go and buy my wheels!

I got some oil cooler goodies today from a local brz owner who is no longer going to be needing the oil cooler for their 86! I have some more shopping to do to get the last of the parts I will need, but this will be going on the car hopefully after I get the 3000 mi oil change completed (about 800 miles from now) and I have the rest of the parts needed! I need to get a tablet already so I can get my gauges all setup so I can see the difference and whether it will necessitate a radiator upgrade (obviously another drive through the Texas hill country will be on order for diagnostic purposes... yea thats it! )

Installed my mudflaps and 6000K D4S hid bulbs today, also took some good photos of the Rexspeed mirrors as I was able to wash the car today.

The Rally Armor mudflaps are installable without removing the wheels, but it makes it a little tricky as there are some tight spaces. A mini ratchet with #2 phillips bit will make short work of the hard to reach screws though!

Here is a photo of the Rexspeed mirrors, the increased visibility during day is unbeatable. The only downside is that mixed with the Carbon 35 window tint on the side windows (a very light tint) it is really hard to see objects through the Rexspeed mirrors at night.

And here are pics at different aperature and ISO settings of headlights with the 6000K D4S bulbs. Thank you @Diode Dynamics for your fast shipping! I am officially done with bulbs for the foreseeable future. Down the road I may pic up some acrylic inserts to decorate the interior, but that is low on the totem pole.

If you plan on swapping bulbs in your BRZ here is an invaluable DIY video that helped tremendously.

So I dynoed the car today using Dynojet (what I plan to use for comparing mods and tuning in the future). I currently have only the TRD intake as a power train modification, here are the results.

@GrimmSpeed, I know you guys have been researching the crap out of intakes and looking at AFR. I am a bit of a noob to reading AFR charts and knowing what they mean (read: complete and utter noob), I was wondering how these results compare to what you have seen and if it is safe, marginally safe, or in need of fixing asap? Thanks in advance!

The mirrors are bloody awesome during the day, but at night they are difficult to see by. I like them and will be sticking with them, but using them to back up (ie: to see obstacles) at night is nearly impossible and that is with a relatively light window tint too. However, during the day and low light conditions such as dawn or dusk, you have 360 degree vision between the rearview mirror, these, and looking forward with your peripheral vision. I still turn my head when I lane change, but that is really just paranoia kicking in.

Also, let me know if you get your tattoo, I have been curious as to whether or not you had gotten it yet and would love to see pics of it once you have it.

I had 5% tint on blue. Visibility was null. (always had to put windows down to see at night) so I will do some things differently second time around

I will def post photos. It's gonna be late tonight so I can work uninterrupted. probably 8pm est.

Mine is 35%, the blue tint to the rearview mirrors to reduce glare looks beautiful with the WRB color in my opinion too.

You just need brighter back up lights . I have same tint and I think the same mirrors as you (except mine are heated and have the led turns which I have not hooked up yet) and haven't had problems backing up but I think there is always street lights wherever I am backing up at night.
